what is the initial numer of this equation? (if this makes sense. ha) N(t)= 720/(1+19^e-.15)

OpenStudy (watchmath):

I guess 720 :)

OpenStudy (watchmath):

or 720/20 = 36

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks...do u kno why?...i wanna know how to solve on my own lol

OpenStudy (watchmath):

I am just guessing because your problem is incomplete. It seems there is a t missing on the denominator and also what is initial? initial population?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o yea i meant to have a t after the .15 in the denominator, and yes, initial population

OpenStudy (watchmath):

Then you just plug in \(t=0\), i.e., you compute \(N(0)\) to get 720/(1+19)=36.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh yaeahh!! haha duh! wow. brain fart

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks :)))))
