what expression is equivelent to sin(inverse tan x)?

OpenStudy (watchmath):

Let \(\tan^{-1} x= t\). Then \(\tan t= x/1\). So we have a triangle with sides \(x,1\). The hypothenuse is \(\sqrt{x^2+1}\). Therefore \(\sin t =\frac{x}{\sqrt{x^2+1}}\)
