To value Private Company/Startup, how many years shd we take to calculate DCF? 10 years , 15 years?

I don't think there are 15 years valuations, it's 5 or 10 years.

5 years? is it enough? btw, how do you assume terminal value, the length of period is it ongoing or has a finite life?

I've never seen a 15 year DCF valuation. For the termnal value the length of the period if infinite.
