it is same as we add vectors, we superimpose the vectors, in simple language we do a vector sum of the given vectors.

superposition is adding vectors algebraically and equating it with some constant or if the vectors are in the same direction we can simply add them using algebraic addition since they don't have any angle between them or the vectors are symmetrical we can sum up all the vectors equating it with zero.
