put all x on left side and move the rest to the right: -9x+2x=2-9-9-4 -7x=-20 x= -20/7
OpenStudy (radar):
Add 2x to both sides of the equal sign getting -7x+9+4=+2-9 subtract 13 from both sides getting -7x=-7-13 divide both sides by -7 comb ine x=20/7
