OpenStudy (watchmath):

The other side can be obtained by Pythagorean's theorem \(5^2+x^2=8^2\) \(x^2=64-25\) \(x^2=39\) \(x=\sqrt{39}\) Now you can just use SOH CAH TOA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Whats that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SOH= sin =opposite/hypotenuse CAH= cos = adjacent/hypotenuse TOA = tan = opposite/adjacent
