I have 10 puppies in a litter. One has a chew bone, the other nine do not. What percentate of the of the litter has a chew bone?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/10

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i dont think puppies care about ownership :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1/10 = 0.1 = 10% Or as amistre64 said, which would make it 100% :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if puppies don't care about ownership, it may also be 0% :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks...it's shameful, but apprecaite your time. Ad for amistre64, why be cute? Just answer the question or go find a job as a stand up comedian. Thanks to sammystarr and pc0019.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

oh trust me, if there is anything puppies dont do is leave stuff alone ;)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

I can be cute becuase I aint no machine that is here to bend to your will lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nothing wrong with a little humour... keeps you sane when doing maths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathdummy: amistre64 is just being logical? Did you ever state any restrictions?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Now you're being flippant :P

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Trust that I feel bad enough that I am a total math looser....just looking for a simple answer.....should have asked how to figure percentage problems. Give a fish, feed a person, teach to fish, feed the world. Thanks all~

OpenStudy (amistre64):

since the question was answered correctly; i had nothing apparently valueable to add; so I stated the obvious. it like why do they put throwing anvils off a cliff in my math book? Who does such a thing....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathdummy: I'm sorry. There are actually some question where you need to think in such a way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good luck! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Throwing anvils off a cliff sounds like fun.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its bad for the elephants I hear :) or mammoths...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Need advice on how to throw a good party? Set a gorgeous table, serve delish food.....THAT's where my talents are. :) A math problem comes up at work and i'm toast. I feel like heading off a cliff like the anvils and elephants when math comes up. (the puppies were just rewording of my actual issue at work)
