Question

I am so discouraged I cannto get into a class because my math score is so low. I am in a 4th or 5th grade math level. I do not know how to do anything past addition sub, mult and divide i dont know algebra or fractions or anything. what can I do

It is so discouraging! I have always hated math and had evil math teachers in school who did not make it any easier . but that is the past. I need to learn this if I am going to get a decent job and to get into a school

Also someone who has gone back to school in my 40's. Started back with college algebra and just completed calculus. It has not been easy...in fact it has kinda suxored. But have just kept plugging away. Only two more math classes to go!

But what I have found so far - just gotta do the math. And outside books help: algebra for dummies, calculus for dummies and how to ace calculus are all excellent books. Oh and youtube....khan academy is a lifesaver.
