How to graph the equition |x|+|y|=1 without a cauculator?

check for cases where x is positive and y is +ive
it will be 4 lines in 4 quads
x and y will always be positive values
graph a square with corners (0,1). (1,0), (0,-1) and (-1,0)
for eg. in 1st quad it the line x+y=1 in 2nd quad it will be -x+y=1 and so on.
