How do I know if a linear differential equation is linear?

I wouldn't be the best person to give you advice on that, and I don't want to give you the wrong answer. Good luck finding help though. Also, what I forgot to write in my first response: Must have two or less variables and none of the variables can be raised to a power. Good luck!

A differential equation is linear if, for any two solutions u1 and u2, c1 u1 + c2 u2 is also a solution.
