Hi! Could someone please explain how to solve this problem? :) Find the range of the function f(x)=|x^2-3|-2 According to the answer key, the answer is [-2,∞) Thank you! <3

When you write a question, you don't have to write its answer :)

Haha whoops, my bad! :)

Anyway if you want to know how to get the answer, you need to first on the absolute value. The absolute value can only have values that are \(\ge0\). So, the range of \(|{x^2-3}|\) is \([0,\infty))\). Now when you subtract \(2\) from that, your new range (the range of the given function would be \([-2,\infty)\).

Does that make sense?!
