How do you graph inequality of r < -2

OpenStudy (amistre64):

you have to be able to define what your axises are gonna be; and then determine exactly what r>-2 refers to

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait whatt??

OpenStudy (amistre64):

r< -2 has no actual meaning to it; it has to be defined in the proper context to be able to make any sense out of it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i define that??

OpenStudy (amistre64):

anyway you want to :) now if the material you are working with have this defined, you might wanna use their interpretation

OpenStudy (amistre64):

we can draw a single line to represent the 'r' axis; then determine a scale for it; then determine which direction is bid and which direction is small

OpenStudy (amistre64):

find the point that corresponds to the value of -2 and color anythhing that is defined as < -2
