When you are writing a fiction essay, do you still have to support your examples with real life reasons?
I am having to write my own, and read other peoples fictional and non-fictional essays. I am in English course I B and I don't quite get why they are asking for real live information to support my essay, if it is a fiction essay... Anyone shed some light on the subject? (:
To convince the reader that your fictional story takes place in a certain time/place setting, providing real live details helps create an authenticity to your work and to the characters in your story. Even if your fiction essay takes place in the future or another galaxy, providing intentions, motives, descriptions make the story come alive for the reader. Can you give an example?
Yes I think you should include some real life settings/places/people but give it you little twist
that actually makes your essay interesting..
