I need some help cause i have found a different no. not the 1 my classmates did...:S
The arithmetic average of a and b is 9,the arithmetic average of a and c is 7.what is the arithmetic average of a,b and c?

like because we can write the answer right now as (18+c)/3 or (32-a)/3
we can also write it in terms of b

because we get a=8
b=10
c=6
so (8+10+6)/3=8

Hence, 2a+2b+2c=18+14+16=48
Or, a+b+c=24
