solve the inequality and sketch it on a real line 1/5x+6>14 1/5x+6 GREATER THAN OR EQUAL TO 14

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

subtract 6 on both sides 1/5x >= 8 multiply by 5 on both sides x >= 40 ________________O-------> 40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How u plot 40 on a real line ?

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

make a closed circle on 40 with an arrow to the right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but it is impossible to extend a real line to 40 digits

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

??? the real line goes on forever 1,2,3....38,39,40,41...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but on a paper it is difficult to plot 40th one

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

start at 30 then instead of 0 or count by 5's instead of 1's it doesn't really matter as long as you show the arrow going to right of 40

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thankyou:)
