a figure shows a rectangle inscribed in a circle. the rectangle is 4 cm in height and 3 cm along the base. how can i find the circumference of the circle?

OpenStudy (watchmath):

The diameter of the circle is the diagonal of the rectangle. By Pythagorean's theorem one can find that the diaognal is 5. Now circumference of a triangle is \(\pi\cdot \text{diameter} \). So the circumference is \(5\pi\).
