What does a complete circuit need to make electrical devices work?

it needs a source of power eg a battery.

In addition it needs conductors to connect the source to the device.

And then the device needs to be connected to ground to make a circuit

in order for a complete circuit to work, the circuit needs a power source, a path from the power source to the load, and a load to consume the power.
