you step on it, yell at it, call it all sorts of playground names.... then take its dignity away and there you have it
you remove divide the top and bottom by the same number
in other words.......
6 -- reduces by dividing top and bottom by lets try 2 8 6/2 --- = 3/4, and thats as low as it goes...usually 8/2
21 --- reduces by a common number... lets try 3 18 21/3 ----- = 7/6 18/3

a simple way is to try it with 2; until you cant use it no more; then try 3,5,7 etc..
