OpenStudy (cindy):

simplify - 4/3 -4/5 sorry to the other ppl who were trying to solve the other equation i accidently wrote it wrong SORRY

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the bottom numbers do not match, so you need to make them match by thinking of a number that both 3 and 5 multiply into: (15) so, then

OpenStudy (cindy):

so is the answer 8/15

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply (-4/3) by (5/5) and get -20/15 multiply (-4/5) by (3/3) and get -12/15 then add -20/15 and -12/20 to get -32/15 this works because you are multiplying by one and not changing the fractions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is -32/15

OpenStudy (cindy):

thnk you guys youguys are alot of goodhelp
