How do I find the equation in slope intercept form for the points (14,2700) (10,2750)

OpenStudy (mattfeury):

Slope intercept form is: y = mx + b m = slope b = y intercept First find the slope by calculating the change in y over change in x: slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1) then you can just choose one of the coordinates to plug into slope intercept form to find b.

ok. so let me ask you this. please dont laugh...when i multiply the slope by 10 and the slope is 50/4 is this what i will do 50/4* 10/4?
