how do you find the vertex of a parabola when you have the x intercepts?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its the center between the intercepts

OpenStudy (amistre64):

add them together and divide by 2

OpenStudy (amistre64):

that gives you the x value that the vertex is on; use that x value in the equation to find the y value
