OpenStudy (angela210793):

4/9*18-4/9*9t=8-4t

OpenStudy (angela210793):

we simplify a8 with 9=(2) and 9 with 9=(1)

OpenStudy (angela210793):

18*

OpenStudy (cindy):

how watare thesteps ...isimplify 8 with 9 = 2 an9 wit9 = 1 how

OpenStudy (angela210793):

let me see if i can explain better

OpenStudy (angela210793):

since 9 is the denominator u can simplify with 18 which is numerator...u do the same with 9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you have to multiply an expression by a fraction, it is often useful to divide the expression first by the denominator of the fraction then multiply this answer by the numerator of the original fraction. Here we go... 18 - 9t / 9 yields 2 - t (2-t) * 4 yields 8 - 4t ...and that is the solution to the problem
