Cost of dinner for a party of eight people is 139 so for large groups of people an 18% gratuity is added to cost of dinner after a 6% sales tax. Find the total bill for the dinner.

My answer is gone? I had.. 139 * 1.06 = 147.34 147.34 * 0.82 = 120.82
aer you sure this is right
Well it says 18% goes off after tax is added. So we add 6% tax first which makes the cost 147.34. Then we remove the 18% , which reduces it to 120.82. Ask others to verify tho.

depends on whether they added gratuity after 6% tax so total bill is 139(1.06)(1.18)=170.11 rounded.
