Jim is selling hot dogs at a ball game. It cost Jim $250 to purchase everything to make the hot dogs. Jim sells hot dogs for $2.00 each. If he sells h hot dogs, which equation models his profit (P)? Question 4 answers P = 2h + 250 P = 2h - 250 P = 250h + 2 P = 250h - 2

to find profit, substract the total selling price with the purchasing cost the total he got from selling is 2h , because he sells h hot dogs for $2.00 each. and it costs him $250 to purchase it. so the profit he made is 2h-250 P = 2h - 250
