Graphing the line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

see file

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how would i do that on my graph?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=-3x+4\ has\ negative\ slope\ so\ line\ bends\ leftwards\] \[also\ the\ y-intercept\ is\ 4\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so graph the line using these 2 data: 1. bends leftwards... 2. the lines passes thru (0,4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

got it hay382?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wait you mean it slopes to the left or to the right. Cause I thought that the start of a line never went from right to left

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean the line makes an obtuse angle with the positive x-axis..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so like this:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no..u drew the oppsit one..it will slope leftwards..u r line was making acute angle with the positive x-axis....I said OBTUSE angle... the line will be like this slash---> "\"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OH.. Thanks Ha, wow. I forgot about the obtuse part.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeps..u got it ! good luck! :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you. :)
