Hey, I'm given a list of solutions for the differential equation y'+4y^2=0 and asked to pick which one is really a solution, but they all involve the sort y=e^2x, how do I find which is a solution?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plug y'=2e^2x and y=e^2x and see if the option satisfies the question:)

or simply integrate..

wow, pretty simple, thanks a lot
