someone please help meee...ugh

For better help, just put one question per post. Your first one has two questions. Which one of the first page are you working on?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES

OpenStudy (anonymous):

21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u take karate?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

#21 of first page is what is called similar triangles. The ratio of the leg of one triangle corresponds to the partner leg on the other. So you can set up an equation and solve for x.\[(2x-1)/(6x+14)=7/14\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ha, ha. But I do a little tai chi for fun.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i was reading your profile...i take takwonjitsu

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u help me with the rest if u can

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, you have to understand what is going on. Did #21 make sense?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well kind of? can u show me how u got that answer?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The triangles are similar, that is a word that has a real mathematical meaning. In the info they said they are similar. So one triangle is exactly like the other only bigger, so the corresponding legs are alike. So maybe right down the equation I wrote up there and then look at the triangles and see where the info comes from.
