A man takes 12 hrs to walk to a certain place and RIDE back 12+3=15 (to walk both ways i.e., 7.5 hrs to walk to a certain place and 7.5 hrs to walk back = 15hrs) 12 hrs-7.5 hrs= (4.5 x 2= 9 hours) to ride both ways
