Solve y=4-5x if the domain is {-2,-2,1,3,4} Show all work.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

-2 and -2 looks like a typo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats really wat it says

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no answer if that is the domain because none of those numbers work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hello amistre!

OpenStudy (amistre64):

hi sat :)

OpenStudy (amistre64):

y=4-5x; {-2,-2,1,3,4} 14,14,-1,-11,-16 then maybe

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its just a matter of using the domain as your 'x' value to get the output of your 'y' values

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ooooooooooooooh i see

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are supposed to replace x by those numbers and see what you get. but putting in -2 twice is silly

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it seems redundant, but you gotta test for duplicates to see if you get the same results lol

Can someone help me on the next problem i posted?
