question - when identifying the greatest common factor for the following: 30x5y3z9, 80x6y - the only whole number are 30 and 80. I need to find what the GCF is for only those two numbers - rights?

yes - because there is no gcf for the coefficients of y (5 & 6) the gcf of 30 and 80 is 10 and gcf for the 2 expressions is 10xy
