OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok here it is:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know some basic combinatorics I'll try to help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a resturant offers the following choices for breakfast: eggs: scrambeled, fried, or poached meat:bacon, sausage, or ham toast: wheat, white, rye, or pumpernickel how many different breakfast combintaions are possible if you chose one item from each list

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there t is

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*it* lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you are choosing eggs, meat, toast. There are 3 choices of egg, 3 choices of meat, 4 choices of toast: 3*3*4=36 combinations

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do u want another one?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok,

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The super breakfast allows you to chose TWO meats, how many possible combinations are possible by choosing one of the egg choices, and one of the toast choices, and two meat choices

OpenStudy (anonymous):

same menu as the last question by the way

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now there are 3 choose 2 ways to pick your meat, but this is still 3. 3!/(2!1!)=3 There are still 3*3*4=36 combinations.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you're welcome

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I appreciate it
