when we graph the inequailty 4x - 3y>0, why cant we use (0,0) as a test point? if we test the point (6,-5), do we obtain afalse statement or a true one ?

because in order to determine which side of the line is valid; you have to pick a point that isnt actually on the line :)

your next best point is something on the x or the y axis so that one of your terms goes to 0
