A had a birthday party and bought 2 mangoes for each child. However, a quarter of the kids invited did not come, 25 boys came and the surplus provided just one extra mango for each girl. How may kids did A invite?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i spose that depends on how many mangoes were bought to begin with... cant see it another way....yet

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2(b+g) = M 2(25) +2g ......

let total kids be x, total attended = 3x/4. Total girls 3x/4-25, == 33.33. Gives me 8 girls attended Is this right?
