If a car can drive 36 miles on 3 liters of gasoline, how many liters of gasoline will be needed for a trip of 210 miles? I keep on getting the answer 17.5, but it's not part of the choices. The choices are either 6, 12, 18 and 24L. Is there something wrong with my computation? Or am I just supposed to round my answer up?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah, it's 17.5L you're probably meant to round up.

thanks!

yes its 17.5 ,, 3 x 210 = 36x x=17,5 L
