okay do you know foil?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no not yet, if I do. I dont remember
OpenStudy (anonymous):
x^2-4 = 0
X^2=4
X = +2 and -2
OpenStudy (anonymous):
okay well when say you have (x+1)(x+1)
FOIL (first, outter, inner, last)
you multiply the x's and you get x^2 then you multiply the outter and last and add and you get 2x and then multiply the last and you get 1 sooo....
your answer for that one would be.....
x^2+2x+1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so I need to put in x^2+2x+1
