\[Period =(2\pi)/|B|\]where B is A sin Bx

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is B 1/4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y=A sin Bx

OpenStudy (amistre64):

its only making it thru 1/4 of its normal period of 2pi; so its period now takes up 8pi

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the period is 8pi?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Awesome, thanks.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

youre welcome :) periods of trig functions just seem backwards at first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it seems that way. grrrrrr :P
