\[\log _{2}(8-6x)=5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Take the natural log of both sides. You end up with\[0.05t * \ln{e} = \ln{1600}\] And then you basically have the solution \[t = \ln{1600}/0.05.\]

2^5=8-6x [The 2 comes from the log subscript and the 5 comes after the = sign 32=8-6x 24=6x x=4
