ugh I am bad a word problems I would love some help!! A person standing close to the edge on top of a 208 foot building throws a baseball vertically upward. The quadratic function s(t)= -16t2+64t+208 models the ball’s height above the ground, s(t), in feet, t seconds after it was thrown. How many seconds does it take until the ball finally hits the ground? Round to the nearest tenth of a second if necessary. amistre64 got 6.1 but I need to see how to work it PLEASE

OpenStudy (amistre64):

-16(t^2 -4t -13) = 0 4 +- sqrt(4^2 -4(-13)) ------------------ 2 2 + sqrt(17) =abt 6.1231....
