how to prepare for critical reading on SAT's exam. i even dont understand the passage. could any one please help me.

read the passage first you need to try and understand the type of story the passage is from then the rest will follow and youll be able to understand the passage

Haha. Thats the thing about SAT's. You cant prepare yourself last minute. You should have started reading and learning your vocabs since. Try reading passively and don't just skim through the words you don't understand.
make like you are reading it aloud - move your lips if you have to. Then instead of freaking out - make like one of your friends is saying this stuff. And listen to what they are saying. Don't skim it. Don't read the first part and ignore the second part. You will have to pretend that what you are reading is really really interesting. If there is a part you don't understand - see if you can reword that section like you are asking your friend to clarify what they are saying. For instance: "are you saying to me that I need to question the text?" Yes. Not only is the text your friend - imagine that it is your friend back from surgery and on pain medication. They may not make complete sense but you can fight your way through it. If it is a word that you do not grok, see if you can make sense of it by where it is in the sentence. Circle it. Work around it. Oh and from what I'm told - those practice SAT books can help with this sort of thing if you put in the effort. I wasn't big on effort back in my SAT days so can't say from first hand knowledge.
