Hi tjcjsha, do you know what the symbols \(\subset , \subseteq\) mean? Without that, it's very difficult to explain the answer to this problem.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes i know

here, We know that B and C have same elements so they are equal. So, B=C Similarly D=E and every set is a subset of A. Now the answers would be 1.E\[\subseteq\]A 2.C\[\subseteq\]B 3.D\[\subseteq\]C and D\[\subset\]B P.S- how do i get the sign between these 2 words? Please help me.

OpenStudy (mathteacher1729):

\ ( \ ) instead of \ [ \ ]

Thanks
