your vertical retricemptotes can be found where the denominator equals zero

your horizontal asymptotes are a little trickier
if the powers of the numerator and denominator are the same then it is the coefficients for the highest power divided by each other
if the power of the bottom is bigger than the top then the horizontal asymptote is 0
