2y - 4x > 12 ? got any ideas? It's a graph...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you want graph for it......

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I would like the points.... As i dont think that will work on here.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Start by solving for y in terms of x: \[2y - 4x > 12\]\[\implies 2y > 4x + 12\]\[\implies y > 2x + 6\] Then graph the line y = 2x + 6 (with a dotted line) and shade the region above that line ( all y values greater than that line).
