How do you find the period of a graph/function? (trig)

you divide it by whatever is multiplied to the 'x' value

OpenStudy (amistre64):

2pi/w for sin and cos pi/w for tan

OpenStudy (amistre64):

sin(4x) has a period or: 2pi/4

OpenStudy (amistre64):

tan((1/3)x) has a period of: pi/(1/3) = 3pi
