are u sure that anything is there like " interval of a slope " ?

i think when the curve is piecewise linear then for an interval the curve is linear and for that interval the slope is constant

suppose your line has slope m

then if you your domain has length L, the range will have length mL

for example if your line has slope 3 and are considering the domain from 0 to +, the length of the range will be 3*6=18
