how to calculate the value for an angle if it is given (theta) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you need to know if its cos, sin or tan. you could draw a triangle and find out then plug it in and find the answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am not sure what this means. if the value of the angle is given, then you know it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\pi stands for 180 degrees \] so if the angle is \[\pi/3 , \] the angle is 180/3 = 60 degrees.

wen we say sin60, den it means \[\sqrt{3}/4\] and cos60 = 1/2.....how do we calculate dis ?

what is the relation between the angle (ex. cos60) and its value (1/2) ?
