A roof rises from the east side of a house, peakes, and then declines to the west side. The distance from the gutter on the east side to the gutter on the west side is 22 feet. The vertical distance from the gutter to the peak is 3 feet. Find the pitch, or slope, of the roof. Can someone explain how to do this? I'm having problems doing practical applications of slope, intercept, ect...
