Okay. I have a math teacher. Her name is Mrs. Pritchard, if you know her. Anyway, she taught us to find the central angle of a circle WITHOUT knowing the arc. You know, to make a pie chart? I forget completely, and my final is tomorrow. HELP!

I have da question: To make a circle graph of the following information, what should the measure of each central angle be?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14 sports 8 fighting 11 maze 7 none cenrtal angle for sports fighting none dont play

OpenStudy (anonymous):

14 sports 8 fighting 11 maze 7 none find central angle for sports fighting maze none

OpenStudy (radar):

The circle has four division (4 pie slices)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes! Can you help or not, really. I feel like i m wasting time, no offense or nything. Sorry, got mad. I really need this, tho

OpenStudy (radar):

OK the complete circle represents a total of 40 individuals participating in various events. 14/40 x 360 degress could represent the sports 8/40 x 360 degrees could represent the fighting need I say more?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks! I think thats what it was....

OpenStudy (radar):

11/40 x 360 degrees could represent maze

OpenStudy (radar):

I hope this is the right method, but seems reasonable. good luck with it.
