Find the x-coordinate for the endpoint of the line segment through A(-5, -3) and with a midpoint at M(-6, -8) Can somebody explain a formula to figure this one out?

I would start by finding the slope between these two points. Then realize that if M is the midpoint, then the end point will be twice the distance

Thanks. :)
