OpenStudy (jocelyn):

Given A = {18, 6, -3, -12} Determine all elements of set A that are in the solution of the inequality 2/3x + 3 < -2x -7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you mean (2/3x) + 3 < -2x -7?

OpenStudy (jocelyn):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't get it. Multiplying through by 3x gives 6x^2 + 30x + 2 < 0, which does not have integer solutions
