got a triangle and one half base times hight is one half of one is one half
OpenStudy (anonymous):
because y = x is just a line and if you draw it from x = 0 to x = 1 you see a right triangle with base one and hight one.

of course you could also take the anti-derivative and plug in the numbers but that is too much work for this problem
